Getting Started With CDS
We seek to understand each student's unique talents, interests, and the distinct qualities they bring to our vibrant school community. Whether you're a prospective student or a parent exploring educational options, we are here to guide you every step of the way and help you discover what makes Country Day Schools Tampa Bay an exceptional place to learn and grow.

Step 1: Complete the Initial Inquiry Form
Our dedicated admissions team will be in touch shortly to answer any questions you may have and schedule an on-campus Admissions Meeting and Tour.
Step 2: Begin the Online Admissions Checklist
Once your inquiry has been submitted, you will receive access to our secure online portal. This portal provides a clear checklist of all the documentation required for our Montessori program admissions, ensuring you have everything you need in one convenient place.

Step 3: Schedule a Student Visit
After you have completed the online application, a member of our admissions team will personally reach out to schedule a student visit. Depending on the age of the student, these visits range from half an hour to full days. An assessment may also be conducted during this time, depending on the grade level.
Step 4: Receive an Admissions Decision
Once an applicant has completed their student visit and the full admissions checklist, a decision is made collaboratively by our Admissions Committee. We are dedicated to finding the best fit for our school community!

Our Montessori Program Admission FAQs
- What are you looking for in an applicant?
We look for students who are curious, engaged, and ready to thrive in a self-directed, collaborative environment. While we review academic records, Country Day Schools' focus is on finding a strong match for our school's unique philosophy and community. - When should I start the admissions process?
We encourage families to begin the process at least six to 12 months before their desired start date, especially for our popular early childhood programs. Starting early allows ample time for tours, student visits, and completing all required documentation. - Is an on-campus tour required?
Yes, the on-campus tour is a critical part of our personalized admissions process. It allows you to see our beautiful campus, meet our faculty, and experience the learning environment firsthand.
